Capability version 2026-08-07-awards-v1 Award data described effective 1 July 2026 Last reviewed 7 August 2026
Scope in one sentence

TaskForceOne supports selected adult Restaurant Award rates and roster rules. Timesheet interpretation and payroll export are available only for organisations where those products are enabled.

Supported now

  • Employees: adult full-time, part-time, and casual employees.
  • Classifications: Introductory Level and Levels 1–6.
  • Base conditions: ordinary weekday, Saturday, Sunday, public-holiday, and supported weekday night additions.
  • Overtime: supported daily and weekly triggers, plus configured regular-hours triggers for eligible part-time employees.
  • Breaks: exact or duration-only unpaid breaks and the supported clause 16.6 delayed meal-break addition.
  • Minimum payments: casual two-hour attendance and supported public-holiday minimums.
  • Split shifts: same-date, same-location full-time and part-time work periods, including the supported allowance.
  • Public holidays: reviewed system periods for covered years and organisation-configured local periods, including selected-location scope.
  • Outputs: rate preview and roster estimate, plus actual-time interpretation where enabled and conditional payroll export for approved, complete results.

Important assumptions

  • The organisation payroll week controls weekly overtime. An employee cannot choose a separate Award week.
  • A casual base rate is entered as the permanent-equivalent base; TaskForceOne applies supported casual loading and multipliers separately.
  • An entered rate below the stored Award minimum stays visible as the calculation input after an explicit warning. That acknowledgement does not make the rate lawful or waive an entitlement.
  • A roster break records duration but not actual timing. A scheduled unpaid break of at least 30 minutes is assumed to occur in the compliant window and produces a timing warning.
  • Actual-time interpretation uses the recorded time and breaks. TaskForceOne does not invent or deduct an unrecorded actual break.
  • An unsupported or unsafe condition can block the cost. TaskForceOne does not silently substitute a cheaper base-rate result.

Not automated in this release

  • deciding Award coverage, classification, exemption, or which industrial instrument applies;
  • juniors, apprentices, trainees, higher duties, RDO rules, or permanent short-day top-ups;
  • clause 16.5 comparison with a rostered or agreed break time, or facilitation agreements;
  • overnight or cross-location split-shift decisions;
  • individual flexibility arrangements, annualised-wage arrangements, or their reconciliation;
  • allowances other than a condition expressly listed as supported in the product;
  • employee-agreed public-holiday substitutions; and
  • final payslip, tax, superannuation, deduction, or net-pay reconciliation.

What your organisation must check

Confirm the applicable instrument, employee classification and arrangements, entered base rate, regular hours, actual time and breaks, workplace jurisdiction, public holidays, warnings, and final payroll result. Correct any affected period and make any required adjustment or back payment.
