How to Delete Your Account

TaskForceOne allows you to permanently delete your account and personal data. You have two options:

Option 1: Delete from Within the App (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your TaskForceOne account at app.taskforceone.com.au or open the mobile app
  2. Navigate to Account Settings (click your profile icon in the top right)
  3. Select the Danger Zone tab
  4. Click Delete Account
  5. Type "DELETE" to confirm
  6. Click the delete button to permanently remove your account

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account, and we will process your request within 5 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently removed:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and profile information
  • Your login credentials and authentication tokens
  • Your personal preferences and notification settings
  • Your chat messages and private communications

What Is Retained

Certain data may be retained in anonymized form for legitimate business and legal purposes:

  • Scheduling records: Historical shift assignments are anonymized (your name is replaced with an anonymous identifier) to maintain roster audit trails required for labour law compliance
  • Time tracking records: Clock-in/out logs are anonymized but retained for payroll audit requirements
  • Billing records: Transaction history may be retained as required by tax and accounting regulations

Anonymized data cannot be linked back to you and is used solely for compliance, reporting, and aggregate analytics.

Organization Owners

If you are the sole owner/administrator of an organization, deleting your account will:

  • Cancel your subscription immediately
  • Deactivate all staff members' access to the organization
  • Archive the organization (data retained for billing compliance)

We recommend transferring ownership to another administrator before deleting your account. You can do this in the Danger Zone section of Account Settings.

Data Export

Before deleting your account, you can download a copy of your data:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Danger Zone
  2. Click Download Export to receive a JSON file containing your profile, memberships, and shift history
